About Global ME
Our Mission
At GlobalME, our mission is to destigmatize periods across the world, and most importantly to provide all people who menstruate with safe access to menstrual products. Global ME stands for Global Menstrual Equity. We hope to engage youth through education and volunteering to be active global citizens.
Our History
Global ME Foundation was founded in 2021 with support from The Experiment Digital. The Experiment Digital is funded by the Stevens Initiative which is sponsored by the US Department of State and administered by the Aspen Institute. The Stevens Initiative is also supported by the Bezos Family Foundation and the Governments of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. The Initiative is an international effort to build global competence and career readiness skills for youth people in the United States, the Middle East and North Africa.
